Note: There are affiliate links in this post I am expecting my third child pretty soon. I’ve been amazed at how much less stuff I feel like I need for this child. Granted, part of that is because I already have a lot of stuff from the other two kids, but a lot of it is the fact that I’ve realized that babies don’t really need all that much stuff. Diapers, wipes, a way to eat, a car seat, some clothes, somewhere to sleep, and arms to hold them. Babies really don’t NEED swings and toys and bottle warmers and all...

Disclaimer: This post contains affiliate links… I know I know, I love blurb, I can’t help but share how much I love them and their gift giving options… They have another crazy awesome idea for a personal gift and I had to share 🙂 Blurb’s Chicken Soup For Your Soul! It can be really hard buying books for people as gifts. After all, you never know just which books they already have. And then when you do find the right book and give it to them, how do you make it really personal? Put in a book plate? Write an inscription?...

Did you guys happen to read my other posts about family yearbooks? You can still check them out if you haven’t! Introduction to Family Yearbooks {Traci Style} Why I use Blurb Okay! Now that we got that out of the way! My final thoughts, collages! Have I ever mentioned that I am probably THE MOST indecisive person in the world? I am pretty sure I am {see, I am even indecisive on whether or not I am the most!} So, when I take pictures I take a ton, and then when I put them on the computer I love them all so much I can’t choose...

Did  you happen to check out my introduction to family year books before reading this? If not, check it out!   Okay, So the VERY FIRST question I always get about my year books is where I get them printed. So I thought I would let you guys know how, why, quality, price, etc.! First off, I have tried a lot of different websites. I ultimately decided on Blurb because they are the whole she-bang {Anyone...

{Please don’t hate the blurry pic, I did that on purpose 🙂 Is anyone else out there a journal-er? I LOVE journaling, I really enjoy watching myself grow as a person, and be able to look back and see and remember things and feelings and thoughts, that I would otherwise just forget. I love remembering the little things, not EVERY little thing, but some of the little things. And, being married, I love to write, often, all the big and little things I love about my husband. So that I am always focusing on the good, and remembering...

One of the things that a lot of people have asked me since I started cloth diapering is how my daughter doesn’t get diaper rashes with that wet fabric right next to her. Many people assume that rashes would be worse with cloth than with disposable.  Not true. At least not for us. Since we started cloth diapering, my daughter has only had one rash, and I wouldn’t really call it a rash. Just a little irritation. While there is no compelling evidence that cloth keeps rashes away, here is my theory: many people wait too long...

My son is almost two and a half years old, and he is SO interested in letters. We probably sing the alphabet song 100 times a day. His favorite puzzle is an alphabet one and whenever he sees a sign, he says “b mommy!” (all letters are “b” to him right now). When we read books he likes me to point to each letter and tell him what it is.  I have decided to use his interest in letters to my advantage. He will sit and let me show him letters for about 20 minutes, which is a long time for a two year old. I have...
