It doesn’t change the price of the item for you, and it doesn’t change the honesty of my reviews. I appreciate your support*** I used to read like crazy when I was in school. Everything and anything I could get my hands on. Once I got married and had kids, I kind of lost time to do that. And I missed it!  About two years ago I was having some doubts about my motherhood, myself, my ability to do the things in life...

Thank you for your support** We live in a fifth wheel with our three kids, which means space is VERY limited. We have to be very careful about what we bring into our house, because...

Wanna know a secret to a happy life? I’m not going to say it’s THE secret. But it’s a secret.  It doesn’t really matter what the circumstances are, I believe you can make your life a happy one. I mean, here I am at the laundromat again, but I’m smiling. Because I know a secret. The secret? <<Be where you’re at.>> I...

It’s been awhile since I just wrote. Most of my posts have a purpose. A list or a recipe or something. But what I really miss is just writing. Just talking about life and all it’s ups and downs.  It’s so easy to forget that sharing REAL life is so important. Sharing what goes on in the day to day is what I think helps me connect to you, and...

You know how bedtime is torture with toddlers? The screaming, the excuses, the whining ahhhhh I get anxious just thinking about it. Okay, maybe it’s not like that at your house. But let’s pretend like it is.  My daughter routinely fell asleep in places other than her bed after a long fight with me and herself before she finally fell asleep. Exhibit A. Let’s pretend like even when you do the vitamins-brush teeth-pajamas-stories-kisses-prayers-tuck you in routine, it is still torture. You’ve bought night lights,...

So this one time, I decided to be crazy BRAVE, and fly with my three kids, aged 3, 2, and 11 months, by myself to visit my family. I live a 15 hours car drive away from them, so driving was out of the question. My husband doesn’t get much time off from work, so if I want to see them, I gotta go on my own. So, flying is the best option.  We live about 3 hours from the airport, it’s a two and a half hour flight, and the another 3 hour drive to my parents. I knew it was going to be a LONG trip, but we decided to...

One of the question I get more than anything else is “Is it safe to workout and eat healthy while I’m nursing?” I know, most people think that just by nursing you can lose all your baby weight. NOT TRUE. At least not for me. I’m not a doctor, so you should for sure consult with one before doing anything but… studies have shown that it is very much safe to workout and eat healthy while nursing. BUT you don’t want to:  – follow a super restrictive calorie diet. In fact, you need an extra...

It’s been a little while since I talked about cloth diapers. I did a series on it awhile ago. I know that cloth diapering is really popular right now for many reasons. Some switch to cloth because it’s cute, some because it’s economical, and other because it’s cheap. I personally started because it’s cheaper than using disposable diapers. I was looking for a way to save money. However, like many other people who cloth diaper, I got sucked into all the cute prints and different types of cloth diapers that...

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about parenting. The responsibility we have as parents to raise our children well. We are given this huge task of molding minds and souls into the people our children will inevitably grow up to be. As parents, we are making PEOPLE. It’s such a huge task, and just about anyone can do it. Sixteen year old kids can create people. It such a common occurrence, I think, that people like to believe that it is common. But it’s not! Having a baby is a beautiful thing. It’s wonderfully awfully...

Happy Sunday Everyone! I have to say, Sunday’s can be pretty packed and intense, but they are still definitely my favorite day of the week. I get to get dressed up, my husband wears a suit that makes him look like James Bond,we dress up the kiddos, and all go to church, as a family. We get to learn and teach and spend time focusing on what is most important in out lives. Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ and our Forever Family. I recently heard about, and didn’t really want to chose not to read an article about a lady who pretty...
