Every other Friday, I try to do a roundup of fabulous posts that were shared on the Lovely Ladies Linky party. I try to notice a theme with each party and share those links. These last two weeks, I noticed there were quite a few breakfast posts shared, so I went with that theme! Thanks to everyone who linked up fabulous posts. Here are 14 of my favorite breakfast posts:    Silver Dollar Pancakes by Louanne’s Kitchen   Blueberry Cupcakes by Happy House and Home Homemade Yogurt In The Crockpot by Frugality Gal Cinnamon...

This recipe is actually from my sister, and I have to say, I am a salsa lover. I think part of that is the fact that some of my best memories growing up involved a bowl of salsa and a handful of chips. My sister and I used to have movie nights with chips and dip and homemade salsa, and whenever I visit my sister, she makes me homemade Salsa. I have two older sisters and it’s just what we eat when we get together! I also remember a time getting some SUPER HOT {Like, they made it it Mexico and know what they are doing hot} salsa up...

K, everyone can make fun of my now because I had to look up how to spell croissant on google. Haha! 🙂 It’s a hard word! 🙂 Anyway! Onto the recipe. This is one our family favorites. My husband always gets excited when we have this, and I don’t have to argue with my children to eat it. We LOVE this meal. My Mother in law makes this a lot when we visit, and it is great when you need to feed a large group of people {or a small one!}It’s quick and easy to make, and, you just pair it with a fresh vegetable and you are...

I have to first apologize. My food photography is AWFUL. I have a goal to see significant improvement in it, and my family photography. Basically, my kids were screaming for food, and I just threw it on the plate and took a picture. Shame. I know. I will do better. Okay! Now that THAT is out of the way, Just, trust me that this recipe rocks. It’s basically a glorified grilled cheese, but man, it is good! Sometimes, I make really yummy grilled sandwiches for my husband and I, and then my kids just have cheese. It works out wonderfully....

These brownies are awesome. Seriously. I would know, I made them. I love brownies from scratch SO much better than the box. Usually I use cocoa powder but this time I decided to try using actual chocolate chips and the results were awesome. So, like all the other recipes I think are awesome, I decided to share the recipe with you!  It’s pretty easy. You’re going to melt the chocolate and butter until it’s completely smooth. I did this in a sauce pan on medium heat. I stirred constantly because I am SO good...

Happy end of December everyone!! 🙂 I love Christmas! And am sad that is over, but excited for a new year, too! Is anyone else a little burnt out on holiday baking? I LOVE to cook, but my gosh, I am sick of it! 🙂 Haha! Let me explain… this was our first year home just us as a little family, and I wanted to do it all! And I did!{Homemade everything, cinnamon rolls, cherry pie {with homemade crust} sugar cookies, pistachio bread, eggnog bread, etc.!}  Needless to say…I did a lot of baking, and ended up throwing away...

I don’t know why I call these Christmas Caramels. For some reason I associate home made caramels with Christmas. Maybe it’s because they make an AWESOME gift to give to neighbors during the holidays. Maybe it’s just because they are as amazing as Christmas. I don’t know. Whatever the reason, these things are seriously THE BOMB. I ate like six this morning. For breakfast. (don’t judge.)  So my friend, Sarah, who owns The Vinyl Company, an awesome etsy shop with super cute vinyl products, makes these...

My husband and I try our best to do date night every week like Markell said and sometimes to make it extra special, we cook together. No… definitely NOT while the kids are awake, that would just be chaos 🙂 We feed the kids a simple meal {mac and cheese anyone!?} and have a light snack and then put them to bed and start OUR dinner. Which means food that we want to eat, but our kids don’t always want to. You know what I mean? It’s amazing how close you grow by working together. You are able to talk, flirt, work with...

Have I ever mentioned how much I Love my Mother in law? Seriously, I won the jackpot. I have ALWAYS heard SO MANY horror stories about bad mother in laws and issues, and I was honestly planning on having to work through some things, but, when I met my husband’s Mom I was so excited! I have been around/in the family for six-ish years and never had any problems. She is absolutely wonderful and my kids adore her {and I do, too!} She is an incredible example, and I really look up to her. Not too mention she raised my husband, which is...
