I am so excited to share this post with you! I really wish I would have taken more pictures for you guys, but you’ll see what I mean as I describe how I did this. I have really been wanting to purchase a picture of Christ {Framed and Matted} for My husband and My Bedroom. We have a lot of smaller pictures of Christ up, but I really want to have some bigger ones, but they are crazy expensive! A 33×21 Framed Picture of Christ would cost me around0 $300 dollars. Which is not really in our budget right now. So, my husband and I...

In case you haven’t noticed, a lot of our crafts are focused on little boys and their hero obsessions. Both Traci and I were blessed with little boys as our oldest children. Don’t worry, we both had girls second so there will be plenty of girl themed tutorials to come, I’m sure.  A little while ago, I made a superhero cape for my little...

Happy third birthday to my little man! Lately my 3 year old has been REALLY into superheroes-specifically Batman. He got his face painted as Batman and ran around the house singing {Nu nu nu nu nu nu nu nu nu nu BATMAN!} For a week! It was Amazing. I love him so! So for his birthday he needed a new hooded towel {his old one got used to help us stop our home from...

A little while ago, my mother bought my son a pair of Batman pajamas that have a velco cape. My little guy LOVED it. He wanted to wear it all the time. That’s totally fine with me, except that it only velcoed onto the one shirt. Every so often, the thing has got to get washed. I remembered that when I was little, my grandma had made a super...

I’d like to introduce you all to my new partner in crime, Traci! She is my good friend and sister in law and is going to write a blog post from time to time whenever she feels she has something awesome to share. This is her first post (and it’s awesome!) so give her lots of love! If you want to learn more about Traci, check out her about me. My little lady turned one a few days ago! AH! Really!? So we did a sweet little party with friends at the park {more on that later}. I wanted to make her a pretty little headband, but...

I have a friend who has the cutest little boy you’ve ever seen. I about died when I saw him wearing suspenders a little while. Ever since then, I have been on the hunt for some toddler suspenders. I found some, but didn’t like the pattern. So, I decided to make my own. It only took about 20 minutes and holy cow, they are stinkin’ cute. So, I thought...

I made this tutorial specially for some fellow LDSers that are preparing to go on a trek this summer. For those of you that don’t know, what we Mormons call a “trek” is a reenactment of the early Mormon pioneers. They came across the country with wagons. Some of them were lucky enough to have wagons that were pulled by oxen, but there were many who came pulling hand carts. The youth in our church reenact that trek by dressing the way they did, giving up many worldly things (cell phones, mp3 players, etc) and going on...

I just finished my first ever quilt. It is a gift for my sister in law, who is expecting a baby any day now. I found this pattern here from Curly Top Quilts. It was designed by Curly Top Quilts and the pattern is for sale on her etsy shop for just $3. Check out her blog here.  The pattern was simple and easy to read and I think it was a perfect first quilt. The pattern uses pink as the bright color, but I decided to use yellow. I used heat n bond to make the applique easier. And, I used the back fabric as binding to make things even...
