Once in awhile, when I make a recipe, I get a fantastic idea for a different recipe that is similar but also completely different. A little while ago, I was making Traci’s Bacon and Cream Cheese Appetizers and I had the brilliant idea to make these Cinnamon Bites. Which made me think… what else could be made that is similar to these recipes? I think the possibilities are ENDLESS!
Anyway, these turned out AMAZING. Huge hit. Literally gone in seconds. They didn’t look super pretty, but who cares, right? (okay… I do… but they were delicious so.. it was okay).
So! Here is the recipe! It’s simple enough. I hope you love it!

Delicious bites of cinnamon goodness
Ingredients
- 1 package crescent rolls
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1/3 cup butter
Instructions
- Mix brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon together. Cut in soften butter.
- Lay out crescent rolls on a greased pan. Cut them so each one can be made into two bites. They won't be even, but they will be delicious!
- Spread some filling on each piece of crescent dough and roll it up on the pan.
- Cook at 350 for about 12 minutes or until just barely golden brown.

Yeah. These wouldn't last long with us! I never think to stuff crescents wth sweet, I always think savory. I'll keep this in mind next time a whack open a tube. =)
These looks absolutely delicious!
I'd love it if you could pop over and share with us over at Tell it To Me Tuesday! http://www.sweetsillysara.com/2014/04/tell-me-abo…
These look delicious! I’m wondering if I could substitute phyllo dough for the crust. 🙂
I don't have any experience with phyllo dough! Try it and let me know how it goes!
