Once in awhile, when I make a recipe, I get a fantastic idea for a different recipe that is similar but also completely different. A little while ago, I was making Traci’s Bacon and Cream Cheese Appetizers and I had the brilliant idea to make these Cinnamon Bites. Which made me think… what else could be made that is similar to these recipes? I think the possibilities are ENDLESS!

Anyway, these turned out AMAZING. Huge hit. Literally gone in seconds. They didn’t look super pretty, but who cares, right? (okay… I do… but they were delicious so.. it was okay).

So! Here is the recipe! It’s simple enough. I hope you love it!

Ingredients
  1. 1 package crescent rolls
  2. 3/4 cup brown sugar
  3. 1/4 cup flour
  4. 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  5. 1/3 cup butter
Instructions
  1. Mix brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon together. Cut in soften butter.
  2. Lay out crescent rolls on a greased pan. Cut them so each one can be made into two bites. They won't be even, but they will be delicious!
  3. Spread some filling on each piece of crescent dough and roll it up on the pan.
  4. Cook at 350 for about 12 minutes or until just barely golden brown.

Yeah. These wouldn't last long with us! I never think to stuff crescents wth sweet, I always think savory. I'll keep this in mind next time a whack open a tube. =)

These look delicious! I’m wondering if I could substitute phyllo dough for the crust. 🙂

I don't have any experience with phyllo dough! Try it and let me know how it goes!
