Best Running, Walking, Biking, App… Ever!

Welcome to week three of the running challenge! If you started when we did, you should have about 11.5 miles down! How cool is that that you’ve started your journey to a healthier you? Nice job! We are trying to bring you some sort of help each week for this challenge. Sometimes it will be a tips, like last week, some times it will be recipes, anything to help you with this challenge. This week, Traci is going to share with you an awesome app to help make this challenge a little more meaningful to you. We received no compensation for telling you about this app, we just thought it was cool, and it might give you a little extra motivation to get that running (or walking!) in.  

Need some motivation to run, walk or bike? I want to share something I found for running that is SO wonderful. I am not big into downloading apps, but my husband just recently got an iPhone for work and lets me take it running {for the music}  There is a running app that tracks your distance, but that’s not the best part. For every mile that you run, a company sponsors you and donates money to a charity of your choice. Crazy huh? The app is FREE and you don’t pay a dime. Companies sponsor you 10 cents a mile for bikers, and 25 cents a mile for walkers and runners. Plus! You get to choose your charity! How cool is that? Excited? I know, I was too. There are wounded warrior charities, feeding America charities, animal charities and many more. And you get to choose where you want to your money to go.
