In my house, we go through a LOT of diapers. I’ve got two in diapers right now, with no sign of potty training in my near future. Seriously, some days I change upward of 700 diapers. At least it feels that way sometimes. Diaper changes can get pretty rough. My little man is way too busy to stop what he is doing for a diaper change. And my little girl is has just started standing and really moving around and does NOT want to be laid on her back for a diaper change.
Needless to say, I am open to anything that makes diaper changing easier. That’s why I was so excited to try out Huggies Little Mover Slip On diapers. These diapers are designed with moving toddlers in mind. Instead of having to lay the baby on their back to change them, these diapers just slip on, like underwear. Slip it up over your babies little booty and that’s it. No need to fasten tabs or worry about the diaper fitting right. Because of the stretchy sides, they fit great. Both of my kids are in the same weight range, so they are in the same diaper size, but have vastly different body shapes (my son is skinny, my daughter is not so skinny), so I was afraid that the diaper wouldn’t fit them both right, but the stretchy sides hugs right to their body for a perfect fit.
Another thing I noticed about these diapers is that they absorb a LOT. Usually when my kids wake up, their diapers are so full and heavy they could be used as a weapon. Not so with these diapers. The wetness is absorbed and they barely feel any heavier than they were when the kids went to sleep.
When it’s time to take the diaper off, the sides rip easily and there are tabs to fold the diaper up just like you do any other diaper. Super easy to put on and take off.
One thing that I really don’t like about these diapers is the fact that I have to take my kids pants all the way off to change a diaper. This isn’t a huge deal when I’m hanging out at home with them, but when we are out and about and they are wearing shoes, it is a little bit of a hassle. I feel like this hassle is worth it for the time I save when I’m at home. However, the diapers are made to be unfastened and refastened, and can be used like a normal diaper, but I don’t feel like it’s quite as secure as before I rip it apart.
If you’re interested in trying out these diapers, here is a coupon for $2 off. If you share that coupon with three friends, the value increases to $2.50!
P.S. Sorry about all the naked baby pictures, but how else are you supposed to do a diaper review, right?

what a cute kiddo.
