My husband and I have been married for five years this September. We are hoping to go on a trip, just the two of us. We've looked into a couple different places, but the one I am leaning towards is Puerto Rico!
There are a few things that make me really want to visit Puerto Rico. For one, no passport required! It's like foreign travel, but without all the hassle of leaving the country. That simple fact will make it much easier for my husband and I to enjoy the 270 miles of coastline that Puerto Rico has to offer. The first thing I'd do when we get there is check out the beaches. The beaches of Peurto Rico were featured on a list of top ten beaches by the Travel Channel, so you know they're good. We'll also be checking out the bioluminescent bays. One day we'll dedicate to visiting El Yunque, the only US National Park that is a rain forest. I'm also really interested to check out the deep history that can be found at San Juna, maybe go on a horseback ride through the 3rd largest subterranean river in the world, and enjoy the amazing delicacies that can be found all over the island.
