I have excited news! I am now an affiliate with Spark Naturals. Spark Naturals is an essential oil company that, according to their website, has a focus on “finding, creating and developing only products that improve the health and wellness of our consumers”. Like many other essential oil companies on the market today, Spark Naturals sells pure, high quality, essential oils. Unlike other essential oil companies on the market, Spark Naturals sells a product that is affordable. Their company is not a multilevel marketing company, so they are able to pass on more savings to the consumer, which means cheaper oils for you without sacrificing quality.
One of my favorite things on the Spark Natural’s website is the Essential 4 Pack. This is a kit of four of the most used oils in a convenient little tin. It comes with 5 ml of Lavender, Lemon, Melaleuca (Tea Tree Oil), and Peppermint. These four oils are perfect for anyone diving into the world of essential oils. The best part? This kit is only $19.99. And! If you use the coupon code MOUSE, you’ll get an additional 10% off, meaning you can dive head first into the world of essential oils for $18 (plus shipping).
So, what can you do with these four oils? I’m glad you asked!
Lavender:
Lavender is probably my favorite essential oil. The smell is calming and peaceful. It is a mild oil, so it’s perfect for using with children. It also is very diverse. You can use it by:
– putting a few drops in a bath tub with Epsom salts to make your bath a little more relaxing and help ease aching muscles
– put a few drops in coconut oil and use it as lotion
– a few drops in coconut oil and use it as a diaper rash cream
– place lavender oil straight onto mild burns (after running burn under cold water) to stop the burning feeling
– diffuse it in your house to make the whole house smell amazing and to help boost the mood of everyone in the house.
Lemon:
High on the list of my favorite oils is lemon. It smells so fresh and bright. It, like the other oils in this kit, is very diverse.
– Put a few drops in a mixture of half water and half vinegar in a spray bottle and use as a counter top cleaner
– Put a few drops in water for a refreshing drink that also helps cleanse your insides and has been known to help with weight loss
– A few drops of lemon on your chest can help with congestion
– Two drops of lemon oil on my husband’s cold sore seemed to help it heal much faster than normal.
– A drop of lemon placed under or next to the nose can help ease the symptoms of hay fever.
Peppermint:
Peppermint is a STRONG oil. It can burn your skin if you place too much of it undiluted on sensitive areas, so be careful with it.
– My favorite use is to help get rid of headaches. Two drops of peppermint in a tablespoon of oil rubbed across the forehead instantly relieves headaches for me. I usually have to reapply after a few hours (if it’s a bad headache) but it does give me some pretty quick relief
– Place a drop on the palm of one hand, rub it into the other hand, and smell it for a quick energy burst.
– A drop in a tablespoon of coconut oil rubbed on the bottom of the feet can help reduce fevers. I used this when my son had a mild fever and about an hour later, the fever was gone.
– A few drops in hot chocolate will give it a delicious favor.
– A few drops rubbed onto the stomach can help with indigestion. Again, it’s strong, so if you’re afraid it might burn, mix it with a carrier oil (I always use coconut oil)
Melaleuca Oil:
Melaleuca is also known as Tea Tree oil. It is my least favorite, scent wise, of these four oils, but it has a TON of uses. I probably use it more than any of the other four oils.
– Melaleuca is a great disinfectant. It can also be added to a household cleaner to boost the disinfectant properties.
– I add a few drops to the laundry from time to time if the load is particularly dirty to help disinfect it.
– A few drops added to shampoo can help keep lice away
– Diffuse it in the air to help fight cold symptoms
– Melaleuca oil can be used to fight many types of fungus. It can be used on toe fungus, ring worm, and athlete’s foot.
– My personal favorite use for this oil is to fight acne. As soon as you feel a pimple coming on, put a drop of tea tree oil on it 2-3 times a day for a day or two and that thing will go away super quick.
So there you have it. 20 ways to use the Essential 4 pack from Spark Naturals. These are just a few of the many, many uses for these four oils. I strongly recommend starting out with this kit if you’re new to oils.
If you’d like to try these oils out for yourself, be sure to use to code MOUSE to receive 10% off of your order. That puts the price of these oils down to right around $18. What a great way to give essential oils a try and see what all the hype is about.

I think it would be a toss up between lemon and peppermint for me as a fave! Thanks for the review/info.!
I like the lavender…. 😀
I love lemon and peppermint sents. Not a big fan of teatree either but it is very useful. I am allergic to lavender, though. And they always put it in the boxes since most of the people like it.
