Once in awhile, when I make a recipe, I get a fantastic idea for a different recipe that is similar but also completely different. A little while ago, I was making Traci’s Bacon and Cream Cheese Appetizers and I had the brilliant idea to make these Cinnamon Bites. Which made me think… what else could be made that is similar to these recipes? I think the possibilities are ENDLESS!
Anyway, these turned out AMAZING. Huge hit. Literally gone in seconds. They didn’t look super pretty, but who cares, right? (okay… I do… but they were delicious so.. it was okay).
So! Here is the recipe! It’s simple enough. I hope you love it!

A few days ago, my husband and I realized we had a ward party that night and we had nothing to take to it! It was a finger food party, so we wanted to whip something up that would be delicious, but we really didn’t want to go to the store. So we did a quick inventory of the ingredients we had on hand, and we came up with idea to do chicken cordon bleu bites. I was very excited with the way they turned out.
I was also excited about how easy it was to make. It didn’t take us long at all to make it and it was a huge hit at the party. So! Here is what we did:
Cut chicken breasts up into strips and pound them out. You might find it easier to pound the chicken before you cut it. Whatever works for you.
Once the chicken is cut in strips, place a piece of ham and a piece of Swiss cheese on the chicken strip. We then rolled the strip up and put a tooth pick through it to hold it all together.
Once you have it all rolled up, dip each piece in a bowl of whipped eggs. Then dip each piece in a bowl of seasoned bread crumbs (I used Italian seasoned bread crumbs). Then, place each piece on a baking sheet that is lined with aluminum foil. Cook at 350 for 25-30 minutes. Serve warm. Enjoy!

This recipe is actually from my sister, and I have to say, I am a salsa lover. I think part of that is the fact that some of my best memories growing up involved a bowl of salsa and a handful of chips. My sister and I used to have movie nights with chips and dip and homemade salsa, and whenever I visit my sister, she makes me homemade Salsa. I have two older sisters and it’s just what we eat when we get together! I also remember a time getting some SUPER HOT {Like, they made it it Mexico and know what they are doing hot} salsa up my nose from laughing so hard {painful, yes} But a wonderful memory! So this recipe is another salsa recipe for you, but it actually doesn’t have ANY tomatoes. It’s a great pregnancy craving buster because it’s kind of tangy like you get from a pickle, but so much better! The ingredients sound kind of crazy, but just trust me k? This recipe ROCKS, and it’s just PRETTY. The red and the green veggies make me happy. I love to pair this with grilled sandwiches or really anything you need a side for {almost}
Or just for a snack! {Notice in my picture, my bowl is almost gone, because well, I had been so excited about eating it, I forgot to take a picture!!}
And! I have to note, this recipe is the BEST when you let it chill and set overnight. Basically like most salsas, you need to give it some time to combine all the amazing flavors! {OH, and this recipe makes 2 Cups, so if you are planning on serving this to a group of people, I would double it, or if you’re super hungry…
