I enjoyed reading your blog entry about surviving on less than $15,000.00 a year. My son and his wife did something very similar. By the time their first child was four years old they owned their house and the two cars in the garage. They refuse to get a credit card because they have plenty of savings. No one is guaranteed a prosperous future though. I was doing really well at one time also, but divorce and a disabling injury has me living on less than $8,000.00 a year. I know all about the difference between needs and wants for sure!

Good for you for asking. You deserve the credit for a wonderful article.
Blogs are tough. People read them but very few people take the time to comment on posts they read.
Some people will comment but if they have to use the captcha to post their comments they simply move on. I will say that sometimes they are tough, it may take two or three times to get it right because they are hard to read.
You may want to check your settings. If you choose to simply moderate your comments, you won't need the captcha. Only unmoderated comments should use the captcha system. You may find that more people will comment if it is easier for them to do so. I wish you continued success, your blog is wonderful!

Thank you for the praise. According to my numbers, I have quite a few people reading my blog, but not many comments. It is awesome to hear a little encouragement from someone. And, I did just what you suggested. Thanks so much for the advice.

It doesn’t hurt to ask her to edit the story to include “this is a story from a guest author and fellow blogger” at the top. You deserve the credit, you are giving her credit on your blog! Don’t hesitate to ask for credit for your story. A lot of times you will find that people will ask you to write for their blogs once they are familiar with you. They can’t do that unless they know “who” you are and that it is “your story” and not hers.
Your blog is great, don’t sell yourself short.
